The Hotel

This historic hotel was constructed in 1909, to accomodate travellers, and over time became a family guesthouse with dining rooms for the workers who came to work on the large construction projects for the mountain dams and hydroelectricty.

The establishment rested for many years in the hands of one of the oldest families in the village, until it's eventual closure following that of the local aluminium plant.

Today, after extensive renovation, we have lent a new vitality to this large building, with it' s accompanying flower garden shaded by 100 year old Linden trees.

You will find all modern comforts within these ancient walls.

On the ground floor, you will find a restaurant, a small bar, and a shady terrace where you may refresh yourself over a glass.

You are welcome to explore our garden, where you will find a picnic table, and hammocks suspended from the apple trees, where you may want to indulge in a small siesta.

The first floor is occupied by our family, with the second floor being reserved for our guests.

Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux

Our garden is classified as a 'bird refuge' with the LPO, and we take great care of the birds and the biodiversity present here. It is more than likely you will make some observations.
